Frequent Questions

Do I need to be at home for a service visit?

No, the vast majority of our customers are not at home during the weekly service visit. Just make sure the pool is accessible and any pets are put away and we'll take care of the pool.

Do you run service calls on the weekends?

We do not have service visits typically scheduled on weekends. Sometimes due to weather delays we may push service to Saturday, but any change in service day will be communicated in advance.

How often should pool water be tested?

Your pool water needs to be tested at least once a week for chlorine, alkalinity, and pH levels to ensure safe swimming. To keep the pool running smoothly and protect the surface calcium hardness, stabilizer, and TDS should be checked monthly.

Does a saltwater pool require chlorine?

That's a slightly tricky question. A saltwater pool is a chlorine pool, it just gets chlorine in a different way. Instead of manually adding chlorine to the pool, the salt cell uses electrolysis to convert the salt in the pool into chlorine. The ability to make chlorine at the pool makes it more consistent for a better swimming experience. That being said, if the temperature of the pool drops below 65 degrees, the salt cell does not work, and chlorine must be added manually.

What changes can I make to my pool?
